We went down to “Ground True” a new loop today. It was 75° and just beautiful out!
The Gebhard Well loop is official!
On the way home, we took the road to our outermost out vet check. We got there with no trouble on the dirt road, but once on top, and on the pavement (Finley Butte Rd), things quickly deteriorated! The snow is melting fast but you can’t get to the out check via Finley Butte Rd, from La Pine. Should be fine by ride week. We figure there’s still snow on the upper north face trails right now. We’ll keep an eye on that.
Ride camp and the lower trails are ready for action, and so are we!
