Gear up! It’s nearly time!

October 19th is approaching fast! Dig out those warm duds, and head on down to the Outback Station and ride the Mary and Anna Memorial Ride!

This ride is the primary fundraiser for the Mary and Anna Memorial Youth Fund. This means that all monies above and beyond our expenses, goes into the fund which is available to kids to ride for free (or close to it) at Northwest Rides. It doesn’t matter your affiliation club, EDRA or AERC, we want to help your kids get out and ride!

Why would we do this, you ask? Because Anna Sampson and Mary Nunn were all about their families and did everything they could to get their kids to the rides. They set the bar pretty high when it came to the kids, and we want to honor them by taking care of all the kids, as much as possible. The Nunn and Sampson Families are very supportive of this ride and the fund, showing up en masse, and helping out, which we love!

Volunteers are always welcome! Never been to a distance ride, but want to see what it’s all about? Come on down and help out. It’s a great way to see all that goes on at a ride. Want to ride, but not sure you’re ready? Come do the Intro ride! Not sure what you’d like to do, but would like to talk to someone about it? Contact us, and we’ll get you pointed in the right direction.

So, get that camper, that trailer, that tent (and good heater!) packed up, and head on down in a few weeks! We’re gonna have a blast!
